AFC Champions League: Pohang Steelers, Guangzhou Evergrande, Al-Ain, Al-Ittihad Advance To Quarterfinals

Four games were played on Tuesday as the second half of the AFC Champions League's Round-of-16 commenced.

At Pohang, South Korea:

Kim Seung-dae scored the only goal of the match in the sixth minute as Pohang Steelers blanked visiting Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 1-0 in game two of their two-match series and took out their fellow South Korean club 3-1 on aggregate.

At Guangzhou, China:

Despite a 1-0 game-two home defeat, Guangzhou Evergrande still ousted Japan's Cerezo Osaka 5-2 on aggregate.

At Al Ain, United Arab Emirates:

Asamoah Gyan scored twice (61', 81') as Al-Ain handed visiting Al-Jazira a second 2-1 defeat and won their all-Emirates series 4-2 on aggregate.

At Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

Fahad Al-Muwallad scored twice (72', 90'+1) as Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Shabab 3-1 on the road in game two and took out their fellow Saudi club 4-1 on aggregate.
