At Washington:
Chris Rolfe (28') and Fabian Espindola (63') each delivered a goal as DC United blanked the visiting Houston Dynamo 2-0. The hosts now have 18 points on the season, two more than they garnered all last season while currently sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference.
At Carson, California:
Robbie Keane (24') and Gyasi Zardes (44') provided the scoring as the Los Angeles Galaxy held off visiting FC Dallas 2-1.
