AFC Champions League: Sanfrecce Hiroshima, FC Seoul, Al-Hilal Grab Series Openers; Goose Eggs In Doha

Four more two-game AFC Champions League Round-of-16 series commenced on Wednesday.

At Hiroshima, Japan:

Naoki Ishihara scored twice (51', 65') as Sanfrecce Hiroshima took the opening game of their two-match series with the Western Sydney Wanderers 3-1.

At Kawasaki, Japan:

Yun Il-lok scored the winning goal in second-half stoppage time (90'+3) as FC Seoul outlasted Kawasaki Frontale 3-2 on the road in match one of their two-game series.

At Tashkent, Uzbekistan:

Salem Al-Dawsari scored the only goal of the match in the 38th minute as Al-Hilal blanked Bunyodkor 1-0 in their series opener.

At Doha, Qatar:

Foolad FC held hosts Al-Sadd to a series-opening 0-0 stalemate.
