At Washington:
Fabian Espindola scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute as DC United knocked off visiting Sporting Kansas City 1-0.
At Montreal:
Andres Romero (3') and Jack McInerney (38') delivered the goals as the Montreal Impact snapped the visiting New England Revolution's five-game winning streak 2-0.
At Frisco, Texas:
Atiba Harris (27') and Jean-Baptiste Pierazzi (45') each delivered a goal as the San Jose Earthquakes came from behind to defeat FC Dallas 2-1 on the road.
At Carson, California:
Conor Casey scored twice (PK-28', 66') as the Philadelphia Union dominated Chivas USA 3-0 on the road.
