US Open Cup

22 of the 23 originally-scheduled Lamar Hunt US Open Cup second-round matches were played on Wednesday.

At Lake Mary, Florida:

The Orlando City Under 23s (PDL) knocked off visiting Jacksonville United (NPSL) 2-1, thanks to goals from Tyler Blackwood (30') and Casey Caronis (OG-58').

At Buffalo Grove, Illinois:

The Dayton Dutch Lions (USL Pro), with goals courtesy of Eli Garner (36') and Jesjua Angoy-Cryuff (70'),  blanked homestanding FC Shwaben AC (USASA) 2-0.

At Catonsville, Maryland:

Mamadou Kansaye (15'), Austin Martz (22'), Brandon Allen (62'), and Brian Graham (84') each delivered a goal as the Baltimore Bohemians (PDL) dominated visiting Icon FC from Montville, New Jersey (USASA) 4-1.

At Pittsburgh:

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL Pro) bested the visiting New York Red Bulls' developmental squad (NPSL) 3-1.  Kevin Kerr (10'), Jose Angulo (68'), and Rob Vincent (81') each delivered a goal for the hosts.

At Ocean City, New Jersey:

Maspeth, New York's Greek American AA (USASA) knocked off the Ocean City Nor'easters (PDL) 2-0 on the road.

At Reading, Pennsylvania:

Reading United (PDL) dominated the visiting GBFC Thunder from Binghamton, New York (NPSL) 5-2.

At Richmond, Virginia:

In a battle of local-area clubs, the Richmond Kickers (USL Pro) demolished home-standing RVA FC (NPSL) 6-1.

At Charlotte, North Carolina:

The Charlotte Eagles (USL Pro) defeated the visiting Carolina Dynamo (PDL) 3-1.
At Whitehall, Pennsylvania:

The Harrisburg City Islanders (USL Pro) made mince meat of the homestanding FC Sonic Lehigh Valley (NPSL) 4-0.

At Pontiac, Michigan:

RWB Adria (USASA) knocked off the hosts Michigan Bucks (PDL) 1-0 in overtime.

At Lake Mary, Florida:

Orlando City (USL Pro) dominated the visiting Ocala Stampede (PDL) 4-1.

At Charleston, South Carolina:

The Charleston Battery (USL Pro) demolished the Panama City Beach Pirates (PDL) 4-0.

At Chattanooga, Tennessee:

Chattanooga FC (NPSL), with Luke Winter scoring twice (21', 62'), knocked off the visiting Wilmington Hammerheads (USL Pro) 3-1.

At Rochester, New York:

The Rochester Rhinos (USL Pro) defeated the visiting Western Mass Pioneers (PDL) 2-1 in overtime.

At Newark, New Jersey:

The visiting Brooklyn Italians (NPSL) knocked off the Jersey Express (PDL) 4-2.

At Tulsa, Oklahoma:

In a Sooner State Derby, Oklahoma City Energy FC (USL Pro) defeated the homestanding Tulsa Athletics (NPSL)

At West Des Moines, Iowa:

The Des Moines Menace (PDL) dominated the visiting Real Colorado Foxes (PDL) 3-0.

At Austin, Texas:

After a 4-4 deadlock through 120 minutes, the NTX Rayados (USASA) won the penalty-kick shootout 4-2 over the homestanding Austin Aztex (PDL).

At Fresno, California:

The Fresno Fuego (PDL) knocked off the visiting Orange County Blues (USL Pro) 2-0.

At Laredo, Texas:

The Laredo Heat (PDL) defeated visiting Red Force FC (USASA) 2-1.

At Sacramento, California:

Sacramento Republic FC (USL Pro) outlasted the visiting Ventura County Fusion (PDL) 2-1.

At San Diego:

The San Diego Flash (NPSL) forfeited their scheduled match againt PSA Elite (USASA) due to stadium unavailability.

At Carson, California:

Travis Bowen scored twice during a three-minute stretch in the first half (30', 33') as the Los Angeles Galaxy II (USL Pro) demolished visiting Cal FC (USASA) 6-1.
