African Nations Cup: Algeria, Tunisia Advance To Semifinals

The quarterfinal round of the African Nations Cup concluded on Thursday in Egypt with two games.

At Suez:

After a 1-1 draw through 120 minutes, Amir Bensebaini, Islam Slimani, Andy Delort, and Adam Ounas each converted a spot kick as Algeria defeated Ivory Coast 4-3 in the penalty-kick shootout.

At Cairo:

Ferjani Sassi (52'), Youssef Msakni (60'), and Naim Sliti (90'+3) each scored once as Tunisia dominated Madagascar 3-0.
