At Bridgeview, Illinois:
C.J. Sapong scored twice (7', 37') as the Chicago Fire scorched visiting Atlanta United 5-1.
At St. Paul, Minnesota:
Michael Boxall scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute as Minnesota United defeated the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 3-1.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Christian Ramirez (28'), Diego Rossi (50'), Carlos Vela (63'), Rodolfo Zelaya (89'), and Mohamed El-Munir (90'+1) each scored once as the Los Angeles Football Club demolished Sporting Kansas City 5-1 on the road.
At Houston:
Alberth Elis scored twice (72', 90'+5) as the Houston Dynamo converted the visiting New York Red Bulls into hamburger 4-0.
At Sandy, Utah:
Sam Johnson's goal in the 38th minute provided all the scoring as Real Salt Lake defeated the visiting Columbus Crew 1-0.
