MLS: Five Stripes, Revs, Reds Garner Wednesday Wins; Fire And Visiting Crew Draw

Four games were contested in Major League Soccer on Wednesday.

At Atlanta:

Josef Martinez scored twice (60', 79') as Atlanta United destroyed the visiting Houston Dynamo 5-0.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Gustavo Bou (45'+1), Diego Fagundez (82'), Carles Gil (86')and Teal Bunbury (89') each scored once as the New England Revolution scored three goals within a seven-minute span late in the second half and bayoneted the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 4-0.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Gyasi Zardes (47') and Romario Williams (90') each scored once to lift the Columbus Crew to a 2-2 road draw with the Chicago Fire.

Djordje Mahailovic (28') and C.J. Sapong (63') each scored a goal for the Fire.

At Toronto:

Jozy Altidore (6'), Alejandro Pozuelo (PK-26'), and Ashtone Morgan (72') each scored once as Toronto FC downed the visiting New York Red Bulls 3-1.
