Dramatic Draw Between Galaticos and Barca

Thanks to Lionel Messi's hat trick (11', 28', 90'), 10-man Barcelona gained a 3-3 home draw with Real Madrid to move, for the time being, into the top of the La Liga standings. Ruud van Nistelrooy scored twice (5', PK-13') and Sergio Ramos once (73') for the Galaticos.

At Valencia:

Goals from Diego Forlan ('9) and Jon Dahl Tomasson (72') powered Villarreal to a 2-0 road blanking of Levante.
