At Porto Alegre, Brazil:
Rafael Sobis (61'), Leandro Damiao (76'), and Giuliano (89') provided the goalpower that carried Internacional to a 3-2 home win Wednesday night in game two of the Copa Libertadores two-match final against Chivas de Guadalajara, enabling the Brazilian club to sweep the two-game series and capture all six points and win the South American club championship. The club from Porto Alegre had already clinched the right to represent CONMEBOL in this December's FIFA Club World Cup because the Mexican-based Goats are from a CONCACAF-member nation.
