Seven games were contested Saturday in Major League Soccer.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Danny Mwanga's equalizer at 73 minutes enabled the Philadelphia Union to salvage a 1-1 home draw with the Colorado Rapids.  Jeff Larentowicz had scored at 54 minutes for Colorado.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Edson Buddle scored the only goal of the match at 10 minutes, his 13th of the season, as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the New York Red Bulls 1-0 on the road.


At Washington:

David Ferreira (36'), Eric Alexander (50'), and Jeff Cunningham (90') each scored a goal as FC Dallas stretched their home unbeaten streak to an MLS record-tying nine games with a 3-1 win over hapless DC United.


At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Ilija Stolica scored his first career goal at 62 minutes in his first starting assignment as the New England Revolution defeated the visiting Houston Dynamo 1-0.


At Sandy, Utah:

Javier Morales scored both goals (11', 60') as Real Salt Lake blanked the visiting Columbus Crew 2-0.


At Santa Clara, California:

Chris Wondolowski scored his seventh goal of the season at 35 minutes as the San Jose Earthquakes, who finished the contest with ten men, defeated the visiting Kansas City Wizards 1-0.


At Carson, California:

Chivas USA and the visiting Seattle Sounders battled to a 0-0 stalemate, which ended the Sounders' four-game winning streak, but still extended Seattle's unbeaten run to six games.
