In the final contest of the quarterfinal round of the CONCACAF Champions League, Alphonso Davies (5') and Fredy Montero (76') each scored once on Thursday as the Vancouver Whitecaps defeated the visiting New York Red Bulls 2-0 in game two and won their series 3-1 on aggregate.
The semifinal round of the CONCACAF Champions League will open sometime between March 14 and 16 with the return contests set to take place sometime between April 4 and 6.
