OFC Champions League

Four games were contested on Saturday as the second half of OFC Champions League group-stage play commenced.

GROUP C:

Both games were played at Mangere Centre Park in Auckland, New Zealand.

In the opener, George Debenham scored what proved to be the game winner in the 54th minute as Papua New Guinea's Lae City Dwellers dominated Malampa Revivors from Vanuatu 5-2.

In the nightcap, Darren White (75') and Emiliano Tade (PK-80') each scored a second-half goal as the host country's Auckland City opened their Champions League's title defense with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Western United from the Solomon Islands.

Group C Standings:

GROUP D:

Two games were contested at Pater Stadium, in Pirae, Tahiti on Saturday night.

In the opener, Guilherme Guedes scored twice (PK-67', 90'+2) as Marist Fire form the Solomon Islands doubled up Rewa FC of Fiji 4-2.

In the nightcap, Viritau Tiaiho scored the game-winning goal as Tahiti's AS Tefana defeat Vanuatu's Erakor Golden Star 4-2.
