At Guayaquil, Ecuador:

Jonatan Alvarez (25') and Marcos Caicedo (45') each scored a first-half goal to propel Barcelona SC to a 2-1 come-from-behind win over visiting Atletico Nacional, spoiling the opening of the Colombian club's continental title defense.
