Andorran Club Wins Chance To Face Levski Sofia

The first qualifying round for the 2009-10 UEFA Champions League resumed Tuesday.

At Andorra La Vella, Andorra:

In game two of their two-match series, Victor Moreira scored at 39 minutes to give hosts Sant Julia a 1-0 lead, but Nicola Canarezza equalized at 82 minutes for SP Tre Fiori. The match ended deadlocked 1-1 and the two-match set was deadlocked 2-2 on aggregate. After 30 scorelss overtime mintes, the Andorran club, with successful penalty kick conversions from Christian Xenos, Manuel Machado, Josep Matamala, Danny Mejas, and Walter Wagner, took the shootout 5-4 to advance to the second qualifying, in which they will take on Levski Sofia, with the opening contest next week in the Bulgarian capital.
