In the opener, Alvaro Saborio doubled (16', 71') to help spark Costa Rica to a 5-1 fistbeating of Guadeloupe.
In the nightcap, Miguel Sabah's brace (23', 63') provided half the goalpower as Mexico pulverized Haiti 4-0.
Mexico and Costa Rica will play each other in the second match of a semifinal round doubleheader this Thursday at Soldier Field in Chicago, with the winner to face the United States-Honduras match in the final at East Rutherford, New Jersey next Sunday.
