Jeff Cunningham's double (15', 17') enabled FC Dallas to hold off the visiting New York Red Bulls 2-1.
At Carson, California:
Alecko Eskandarian's goal at 8 minutes held up as the Los Angeles Galaxy blanked the visiting New England Revolution 1-0.
