Alejandro Moreno's equalizer (59') enabled the Columbus Crew to salvage a 1-1 home deadlock with DC United, whose goal came at 33 minutes from Christian Gomez.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

The Chicago Fire, with goals from Marco Pappa (30') and Wilman Conde (37'), snapped a three-game losing streak as they defeated the Colorado Rapids 2-1 on the road.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Kei Kamara's goal at 18 minutes provided all the scoring as the Houston Dyanamo racked up a 1-0 road win over the Kansas City Wizards.

At Frisco, Texas:

Jeff Cunningham's double (15', 17') enabled FC Dallas to hold off the visiting New York Red Bulls 2-1.

At Carson, California:

Alecko Eskandarian's goal at 8 minutes held up as the Los Angeles Galaxy blanked the visiting New England Revolution 1-0.
