The semifinal round of the Canadian Championship concluded on Wednesday with two games.
At Toronto:
Ayo Akinola (36'), Jordan Hamilton (76'), and Marky Delgado (84') produced the goals as Toronto FC dominated the visiting Ottawa Fury 3-0 in game two and took out the USL club 4-0 on aggregate.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Yordy Renya (19') and Kei Kamara (60') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps overturned their series-opening road defeat with a 2-0 game-two home victory over the Montreal Impact and won their series 2-1 on aggregate.
Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps will play in the Canadian Championship Final, which will start on August 8 at Vancouver, with the return match to take place in Toronto on August 15.
The winner is expected to receive the lone Canadian berth in next year's CONCACAF Champions League.
