In front of a league-record crowd of 72,243 fans, Josef Martinez's equalizer in the 48th minute enabled Atlanta United to gain a 1-1 home draw with the ten-man Seattle Sounders.

Nicolas Lodeiro converted a penalty kick in the 45th minute for the Sounders' tally.

At Los Angeles:

The Portland Timbers stretched their league unbeaten streak to 12 games (14 in all competitions) following a 0-0 road deadlock with the ten-man Los Angeles Football Club.
