Billy Nyetobouko scored the only goal of the match in the 77th minute as AS Tempete Mocaf opened their series with Al-Nasr of Libya with a 1-0 home victory.

At Cotonou, Benin:

Ismail Ouro-Agoro's equalizer in the 87th minute carried Togo's ASC Kara to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Buffles du Borgou.

Friday Martins scored for the hosts in the 41st minute.

At Yaounde, Cameroon:

UMS de Loum and visiting AS Vita Club battled to a series-opening 0-0 stalemate.

At Kigali, Rwanda:

Nizar Hamid's goal in the 26th minute carried Sudan's Al-Hilal to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Rayon Sports.

Michael Sarpong scored for the hosts in the 20th minute.

At Bujumbura, Burundi:

Aigle Noir and visiting Gor Mahia of Kenya opened their series with a 0-0 deadlock.

At Juba, South Sudan:

Walid Azaro scored twice (33', 48') as Al-Ahly demolished Altabara 4-0 on the road in their series opener.

At Monrovia, Liberia:

Terry Sackor scored the game's lone goal in the 54th minute as LPRC Oilers took the opening game of their two-match series 1-0 over visiting Generation Foot of Senegal.

At Conakry, Guinea:

Mohamed Sacca converted a penalty-kick for the winning stoppage-time goal (90'+4) as Hafia knocked off visiting Etoile du Sahel 2-1 in their series opener.

At Maseru, Lesotho:

Manguxi (37') and Isaac Mensah (42') each scored once as Petro de Luanda blanked Matlama 2-0 on the road in their series-opening match.

At Moroni, Comoros:

Cote d'Or from Seychelles gained a series-opening 2-2 road draw with Fomboni.

At Oyo, Republic of the Congo:

Otoho D'oyo knocked off visiting Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in their series opener.

At Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast:

SO de' L'Armee and visiting Nouadhibou of Mauritania opened their series with a 0-0 draw.

At Libreville, Gabon:

Cercle Mberi and visiting Elect-Sport (Chad) battled to a series-opening 0-0 stalemate.

At Mahajanga, Madagascar:

Fosa Juniors took the opening match of their series with Pamplemousses of Mauritius 1-0 at home.
