Gustavo Bou's equalizer in the 65th minute lifted the New England Revolution to a 1-1 road draw with the New York Red Bulls.
Marc Rzatkowski scored in the 18th minute for the Red Bulls.
At Cincinnati:
Vanentin Castellanos (32', 71') and Heber (45'+3, 89') each scored twice (once in each half) as New York City dominated struggling FC Cincinnati 4-1 on the road.
At Columbus, Ohio:
Jonathan Osorio (42') and Jozy Altidore (90') each scored once to carry Toronto FC to a 2-2 road draw with Columbus.
Pedro Santos (48') and David Accam (82') provided the scoring for the Crew.
At Montreal:
Zdenek Ondrasek (59') Reto Ziegler (PK-85'), and Ryan Hollingshead (90') each scored once as FC Dallas came back from three goals down to gain a 3-3 road draw with the Montreal Impact.
Lassi Lappalainen scored twice (8', 45') and Orji Okwonkwo once (56') for the hosts.
At Bridgeview, Illinois:
Nemanja Nikolic scored twice (38', PK-45') as the Chicago Fire blanked the visiting Philadelphia Union 2-0.
At St. Paul, Minnesota:
Abu Danladi's stoppage-time equalizer (90'+2) carried Minnesota United to a 1-1 home draw with Orlando City.
Nani converted a penalty kick for the Lions' goal in the 70th minute.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Benny Feilhaber (50') and Graham Smith (76') each delivered a goal as Sporting Kansas City came from behind to upend the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-1.
At Houston:
Mauro Manotas scored twice (74', 79') as the Houston Dynamo, in Davy Arnaud's debut as interim head coach, came back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 home draw with the Colorado Rapids.
Diego Rubio scored both of the guests' goals in the 7th and 38th minutes.
At Carson, California:
Raul Ruidiaz (42') and Jorgen Skjelvik (OG-82') each scored once to carry the Seattle Sounders to a 2-2 road deadlock with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice (45', 65') for the Galaxy.
At Sandy, Utah:
In a match that saw both clubs reduced to ten men, Carlos Vela (64') and Adama Diomande (82') provided the scoring that propelled the Los Angeles Football Club to a 2-0 road victory over Real Salt Lake, thus making the visitors the first club to clinch a berth in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Yordy Reyna scored the only goal of the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 home triumph over DC United in the 18th minute.
