UEFA Champions League Playoff Round: Series-Opening Home Shutout Wins For Olympiacos, Dinamo Zagreb; Red Star Gains Road Draw With Young Boys

The playoff round for UEFA champions league group-stage berths reached the midway point on Wednesday with three games.

Champions Path:

At Zagreb, Croatia:

Bruno Petkovic (PK-8') and Mislav Orsic (28') each scored once in the opening half-hour as Dinamo Zagreb blanked visiting Rosenborg 2-0 in the opening contest of their two-game series.

At Bern, Switzerland:

Goals courtesy of Roger Assale (7') and Guillaume Hoarau (PK-76') enable BSC Young Boys to gain a 2-2 series-opening home draw with Red Star Belgrade.

Milos Degenek (18') and Mateo Garcia Ezequiel (46') produced the goals for the Serbian club.

At Piraeus, Greece:

Lazar Randelovic scored twice (78', 85') as Olympiacos demolished visiting FC Krasnodar 4-0 in their series opener.
