MLS: Lions, Loons, RSL, Galaxy, Timbers Bag Wednesday Wins

Five games were on the Major League Soccer Wednesday agenda.

At Orlando, Florida:

Tesho Akindele's goal in the 21st minute produced all the scoring in Orlando City's 1-0 victory over visiting Sporting Kansas City.

At St. Paul, Minnesota:

Darwin Quintero scored the game's lone goal in the 39th minute as Minnesota United downed the visiting Colorado Rapids 1-0.

At Sandy, Utah:

Sam Johnson (25'), Albert Rusnak (71'), and Corey Baird (87') each scored once as Real Salt Lake dominated the visiting Seattle Sounders 3-0.

At Carson, California:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored both goals (68', PK-82') as the Los Angeles Galaxy blanked visiting FC Dallas 2-0.

At Portland, Oregon:

Brian Fernandez scored twice (21', 88') as the Portland Timbers held off the visiting, ten-man Chicago Fire 3-2.
