MLS: Saturday Wins For Hoops, RSL, Fire, Rapids, Timbers

Eight games were on the Major League Soccer Saturday schedule.

At Seattle:

Carlos Gil's penalty kick in the 87th minute enabled the New England Revolution to gain a 3-3 road draw with the Seattle Sounders. 

At Columbus, Ohio:

Gyasi Zardes (PK-45') and Pedro Santos (62') each scored a goal as the Columbus Crew came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 home draw with FC Cincinnati in the inaugural edition of the Buckeye State Derby.

Darren Mattocks (16') and Emmanuel Ledesma (23') each scored once for the visitors as the Buckeye State entries occupy the bottom two spots in the Eastern Conference.

At Toronto:

Patrick Mullins' equalizer in the 77th minute lifted Toronto FC to a 1-1 home deadlock with Orlando City.

Benji Michel scored for the Lions in the 69th minute.

At Frisco, Texas:

Brandon Servania scored twice (85', 90'+3) as FC Dallas defeated visiting Minnesota United 5-3.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Corey Baird scored twice (38', 70') as Real Salt Lake (in what turned out to be Mike Petke's swan song as their head coach) defeated Sporting Kansas City 2-1 on the road.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Bastian Schweinsteiger scored the winning goal in the 88th minute as the Chicago Fire defeated the visiting Montreal Impact 3-2.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Diego Rubio scored the game winner in the 74th minute as the Colorado Rapids knocked off the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-1.

At Portland, Oregon:

Sebastian Blanco (28'), Marvin Loria (55'), and Jeremy Ebobisse (90') each scored once as the Portland Timbers defeated the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 in a Cascadia Cup clash.
