MLS: Loons, Philly, SKC Come Out On Top On Sunday

Three games were contested on Sunday in Major League Soccer.

At St. Paul, Minnesota:

Ethan Finlay's successful stoppage time penalty kick (90'+2), made possible by a video review, lifted Minnesota United to a 1-0 home win over the Portland Timbers.

At Washington:

Marco Fabian scored twice (45'+2, 72') as the Philadelphia Union demolished DC United 5-1 on the road.

At Seattle:

Felipe Gutierrez scored twice (12', PK-33') and Erik Hurtado once (58') as Sporting Kansas City held off the Seattle Sounders 3-2 on the road.
