IT'S BARCA!

At Rome:

With goals from S
amuel Eto'o (10') and Lionel Messi (70', pictured here), FC Barcelona won their third UEFA Champions League title Wednesday night with a 2-0 win over defending champions Manchester United. The Red Devils got off to a blazing start in the game, but after the Samuel Eto'o goal, Man U gradually ran out of steam. Looks like Lionel Messi did, in more ways than one, get the measure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Catalains will play in December's FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

It was quite a season for first-year coach Pep Guardiola. Barca won the La Liga crown, the Copa del Rey, and now, the Champions League title.
