After a 1-1 draw through 120 minutes, Lazio won a long penalty-kick shootout 6-5 to claim the Coppa Italia crown. The Young Eagles got the decisive successful spot kick from Ousmane Dabo. Mauro Zarate had scored Lazio's lone regulation time goal at 4 minutes, while Gianpaolo Pazzini scored at 31 minutes for Sampdoria.
