Nadjim Abdou's goal at 74 minutes enabled Millwall to gain a 1-1 road draw with Leeds United in game two of their League One Promotion Playoff semifinal series, enabling the Lions, who won the two-match set 2-1 on aggregate, to advance to the May 24 promotion final at Wembley Stadium in London to face the winner of the Milton Keynes Dons-Scunthorpe United series for promotion to the League Championship. That two-match set is deadlocked at 1-1 on aggregate. In these two-legged playoffs, there is no away goals rule. The second contest will take place in Milton Keynes on Friday.
