A Win For The Crew At Last

Five games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday:

At Columbus, Ohio:

Goals from Emmanuel Ekpo (39'), Guillermo Barros Schelotto (55'), and Eddie Gaven (78') lifted the Columbus Crew to their first win of the season, 3-2 at home over the Kansas City Wizards.

At Washington:

With goals courtesy of Ange N'Silu (9'), Chris Pontius (86'), and Jaime Moreno (90'), DC United wound up salvaging a 3-3 home deadlock with Toronto FC, whose goals came from Dwayne De Rosario (52', 87') and Adrian Serioux (63').

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Shalrie Joseph's equalizer (49') enabled the New England Revolution to gain a 1-1 road stalemate with the Chicago Fire, whose goal came courtesy of Wilman Conde at 36 minutes.

At Houston:

Kei Kamara's goal at 57 minutes was all the scoring as the Houston Dynamo blanked visiting FC Dallas 1-0.

At Carson, California:

Thanks to Paulo Nagamura's goal at 54 minutes and Zach Thornton's goalkeeping, Chivas USA blanked visiting Real Salt Lake 1-0.
