The final week of group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores commenced on Tuesday with four games.
GROUP A:
At Buenos Aires:
In a battle of two clubs that had already locked up berths in the knockout stage, Rafael Sobis scored twice (43', PK-58') as Internacional gained a 2-2 road draw with River Plate to lock up top spot in Group A.
Julian Alvarez (34') and Lucas Pratto (90'+3) each scored once for the hosts.
At Lima, Peru:
Renato Tarifeno scored twice (36', 53') as Palestino locked up a berth in the second stage of the Copa Sudamerica (you might call it the Europa League of South America) by defeating Alianza Lima 2-1 on the road.

2. River Plate (GP: 6; GD: +5; PTS: 10)
3. Palestino (GP: 6; GD: 0; PTS: 7)

GROUP E:
At Montevideo, Uruguay:
Santiago Arzamendia's goal in the opening minute of first-half stoppage time was good enough for Cerro Portento, whose 1-1 road draw with Club Nacional insured top spot in Group E for the Paraguayan club.
Rodrigo Amaral scored for the hosts in the 58th minute as both clubs had already locked up knockout-stage berths.
At Barinas, Venezuela:
Alerrandro scored twice (24', 35') as Atletico Mineiro locked up a berth in the second stage of the Copa Sudamericana by defeating Zamora FC 2-1 on the road.
