Tom Barlow scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute as the New York Red Bulls, despite finishing the game with ten men, ended visiting Atlanta United's five-game winning streak (and 520-minute shutout streak as well) with a 1-0 victory.
At Frisco, Texas:
Carlos Vela successfully converted an 80th-minute penalty kick for the equalizer that lifted the Los Angeles Football Club to a 1-1 road draw with FC Dallas.
Ryan Hollingshead scored for the Hoops in the 29th minute.
At Carson, California:
Andre Shinyashiki's goal in the 82nd minute carried the Colorado Rapids to their first win of the season as they knocked off the Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0 on the road.
