MLS: Wednesday Wins For Five Stripes, Crew, Fire, Impact

Four games (all to be streamed live on ESPN+) are set to be contested in Major League Soccer on Wednesday.

At Atlanta:

Hector Villalba (16') and Julian Gessel (67') each scored once as Atlanta United blanked visiting Toronto FC 2-0.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Gyasi Zardes (27'), Federico Higuain (53'), and Hector Jimenez (66') each scored a goal as the Columbus Crew held off the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 3-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Nemanja Nikolic scored twice (28', 40') as the Chicago Fire scorched the visiting New England Revolution 5-0.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Maximiliano Urruti (remember him, Portland Timbers fans?) converted a penalty kick in the 79th minute for the game-winning goal as the Montreal Impact knocked off the New York Red Bulls 2-1 on the road.
