MLS: Saturday Victories For Cincy, Red Bulls, Philly, NYC FC, LAFC, Revs, Fire, RSL, Sounders

Nine games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Cincinnati:

Fatai Alashe scored the winning goal in the 62nd minute as FC Cincinnati, in their first contest under interim head coach Yoann Damet (who replaced the fired Alan Koch), defeated the visiting Montreal Impact 2-1 to snap their five-game losing streak.

At Frisco, Texas:

Sean Nealis scored the game winner in minute #58 as the New York Red Bulls knocked off FC Dallas 3-1 on the road.

At Toronto:

Jamiro Monteiro scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute as the Philadelphia Union stayed hot by upending Toronto FC 2-1 on the road.

At Carson, California:

Heber (44') and Maxi Morales (45'+6) each scored a goal in the waning moments of the opening half as New York City blanked the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0 on the road.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Mark-Anthony Kaye (37'), Adama Diomande (88'), and Carols Vela (90') each scored once as the Los Angeles Football Club dominated the Columbus Crew 3-0 on the road.

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Cristian Penilla converted a penalty kick in the 29th minute for the game-winning goal as the New England Revolution, in their first game for interim head coach Mike Lapper, defeated the visiting San Jose Sharks 3-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Nico Gaitan (21') and Aleksandar Katai (34') each scored a goal as the Chicago Fire blanked visiting Minnesota United 2-0.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Sam Johnson scored the game winner at 50 minutes as Real Salt Lake upended the Colorado Rapids 3-2 on the road.

At Seattle:

Cristian Roldan's goal in the fifth minute was all the scoring in the Seattle Sounders' 1-0 home victory over the Houston Dynamo.
