MLS: Mother's Day Wins For Five Stripes, DC

Two Mother's Day games were contested in Major League Soccer.

At Atlanta:

Pity Martinez (that's the guy's name, folks) scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute as Atlanta United continued their resurgence by defeating visiting Orlando City 1-0.

At Washington:

Paul Arriola scored the game's lone goal in the 78th minute to carry DC United past Sporting Kansas City 1-0 on the road.
