Jonathan dos Santos scored the game's lone goal in the 19th minute as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated Orlando City 1-0 on the road.
At Sandy, Utah:
Jefferson Savarino scored the winning goal in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time as Real Salt Lake knocked off visiting Atlanta United 2-1.
At Los Angeles:
Christian Ramirez (7'), Carlos Vela (28'), Latif Blessing (31'), and Tristan Blackmon (55') each scored once as the Los Angeles Football Club held on for a 4-2 home win over the Montreal Impact.
