GROUP B:
At Belo Horizonte, Brazil:
Brayan Angulo converted a penalty kick for the game-winning goal in the 89th minute as Club Sport Emelec locked down a berth in the knockout stage after knocking off Cruzeiro (who already clinched top spot in Group B) 2-1 on the road.
At Buenos Aires:
Andres Chavez scored twice (28', 64') as Huracan defeated visiting Deportivo Lara 3-0 as the Venezuelan club will take part in the second stage of the Copa Sudamericana.

1. Cruzeiro (GP: 6; GD: +9; PTS: 15)
2. Club Sport Emelec (GP: 6; GD: +1; PTS: 9)

Penarol were held to a 0-0 home stalemate with Flamengo which cost them a berth in the Copa Libertadores' knockout stage (they will play in the Copa Sudamericana's second stage instead); meanwhile, the Brazilian club wound up winning Group D.
At Quito, Ecuador:
Anderson Julio produced a second-half hat trick (67', 73', 87') as LDU Quito demolished visiting Club San Jose 4-0 and sneaked into the knockout stage.

1. Flamengo (GP: 6; GD: +6; PTS: 10)
2. LDU Quito (GP: 6; GD: +4; PTS: 10)
3. Penarol (GP: 6; GD: +2; PTS: 10)

Flamengo and LDU Quito (both of whom had superior goal differentials compared to Penarol; +6 for the Brazilian club, +4 for the Ecuadorian club, +2 for the club from Uruguay) advanced to the Copa Libertadores knockout stage; Penarol qualified for the second stage of the Copa Sudamericana.
GROUP F:
At Sao Paulo, Brazil:
In a battle of knockout-stage-bound clubs, Gustavo Scarpa's goal in the 69th minute carried Palmeiras to a 1-0 home victory over San Lorenzo and the Group F title.
At Barranquilla, Colombia:
Bernardo Cuesta scored the game's lone goal in the 16th minute carried FBC Melgar past Atletico Junior 1-0 on the road and into the second stage of the Copa Sudamericana.

2. San Lorenzo (GP: 6; GD: +2; PTS: 10)

The Chilean club will play in the second stage of the Copa Sudamericana.
At Rosario, Argentina:
Claudio Riano scored the winning goal in the 70th minute as Rosario Central, with nothing to play for, knocked off group-winning Club Libertad 2-1.
