At Rio de Janeiro:
Lautaro Martinez (10') and Giovani Lo Ceiso (74') each scored once as Argentina blanked Venezuela 2-0.
At Sao Paulo:
After a 0-0 stalemate after regulation, and with overtime dispensed with, Arturo Vidal, Eduardo Vargas, Erick Pulgar, Charles Aranguiz, and Alexis Sanchez all converted their spot kicks as Chile defeated Colombia 5-4 in the penalty-kick shootout.
