Women's World Cup: Team USA, Sweden Advance To Knockout Round

Two games played in France in Group F concluded the second cycle of group-stage games in the FIFA Women's World Cup on Sunday.

At Nice:

Linda Sembrant (6'), Kosovare Asllani (19'), Fridolina Rolfo (42'), Lina Hurtig (81'), and Elin Rubensson (PK-90'+6) each scored once as Sweden demolished Thailand 5-1 to lock up a berth in the knockout stage.

At Paris:

Carli Lloyd scored twice (11', 35') as the United States dominated Chile 3-0 to advance to the knockout stage.
