Copa America: Brazil, Venezuela Advance To Quarterfinals

The final cycle of Copa America group-stage games commenced on Saturday in Brazil with two games in Group A.

At Sao Paulo:

Carlos Casemiro (12'), Roberto Firmino (19'), Everton Sousa Soares (32'), Dani Alves (53'), and Willian Borges da Silva (90') each scored once as Brazil destroyed Peru 5-0 to lock up a berth in the quarterfinal round.

At Belo Horizonte:

Darwin Machis scored twice (2', 55') each scored once as Venezuela gained a berth in the quarterfinals following their 3-1 victory over Bolivia.
