MLS: Galaxy, Hoops, Timbers Come Up Saturday Winners

Five games were contested on Saturday in Major League Soccer.

At Cincinnati:

Emmanuel Boateng (12') and Favio Alvarez (15') each scored a goal during the first quarter-hour as the Los Angeles Galaxy blanked FC Cincinnati 2-0 on the road.

At Frisco, Texas:

Dominique Badji scored twice (41', 58') as FC Dallas dominated visiting Toronto FC 3-0.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Albert Rusnak's goal in the 33rd minute lifted Real Salt Lake to a 1-1 road draw with the Chicago Fire.

Aleksandar Katai scored for the host in the fifth minute.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Fredy Montero (PK-45'+1) and Yordy Reyna (80') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 home draw with the Colorado Rapids.

Diego Rubio (8') and Andre Shinyashiki (20') produced the goals for the guests.

At Portland, Oregon:

Marvin Loria (39'), Diego Valeri (PK-61'), Brian Fernandez (63'), and Jeremy Ebobisse (75') each scored once while Steve Clark posted his----and his club's----first shutout of the season as the Portland Timbers demolished the visiting Houston Dynamo 4-0.
