The second half of the CONCACAF League's opening round is set to commence on Tuesday with three games.
At Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago:
SJose Garro (33') and Edder Solorzano (72') each scored once as Santos de Guapiles defeated San Juan Jebloteh 2-1 on the road in game two and won their series 8-3 on aggregate.
At Esteli, Nicaragua:
After Nahun Peralta's goal in the 85th minute enabled Real Esteli to outscore visiting Aguila 1-0 in regulation of game two, the series stood deadlocked at 1-1 on aggregate. With overtime dispensed with, Fernando Cabezas, Ignacio Flores, Edwin Sanchez, and Victor Garcia each converted a spot kick as the Salvadorian club won the penalty-kick shootout 4-3 and advanced to the quarterfinal round.
At San Salvador, El Salvador:
Rodolfo Zalaya (15') and Alexander Larin (31') each scored once as Alianza produced a second 2-1 victory over Platense, this time at home, and finished off the Honduran club 4-2 on aggregate.
