MLS: Late Goals Carry Citizens, Sounders To Home Wins On Sunday

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At New York:

Goals from David Villa (77') and Jonathan Lewis (90'+4) enabled New York City to come from behind to upend the visiting New England Revolution 2-1.

At Seattle:

Clint Dempsey successfully converted a penalty kick for the game-winning goal in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time as the Seattle Sounders came from behind to defeat visiting Minnesota United 2-1.
