Europa League

21 games were contested on Thursday as the Europa League's playoff round reached its' midway point.

At Milan, Italy:

Andre Silva (13', 27') and Riccardo Montolivo (25', 85') each scored twice, once in each half, as AC Milan destroyed visiting Shkendija 6-0 in the opening contest of their two-game series as the Rossoneri all but punched their ticket for the group stage.

At Osijek, Croatia:

Christoph Monschein (26') and Raphael Holzhauser (59') delivered the goals as Austria Vienna came from behind to top NK Osijek 2-1 on the road in the series opener.

At Krasnodar, Russia:

Sergej Petrov scored the game-winning goal in the 66th minute as FC Krasnodar held off visiting Red Star Belgrade 3-2 in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Bruges, Belgium:

Club Brugge and visiting AEK Athens battled to a series-opening 0-0 stalemate.

At Funchal, Portugal:

CS Maritimo and visiting Dynamo Kiev battled to a series-opening 0-0 stalemate.

At Athens:

Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia scored twice (68', 74') as Athletic Bilbao overcame a 2-0 deficit and upended Panathinaikos 3-2 on the road in the opening match of their two-game series.  Oscar De Marcos also scored for the Spanish club in the 71st minute as the visitors scored three goals during a six-minute second-half span.

At Larnaca, Cyprus:

Iaonnis Pittas scored the game winner in the opening minute of second-half stoppage time as Apollon Limassol defeated visiting FC Midtjylland 3-2 in their series-opening contest.

At Hafnarfjordur, Iceland:

Paulinho (62') and Nikola Stojiljkovic (79') each scored once as SC Braga came from behind to upend FH Hafnarfjordur 3-2 on the road in their series opener.

At Liverpool, England:

Michael Keane (30') and Idrissa Gueye (45') each scored a first-half goal as Everton blanked visiting Hajduk Split 2-0 in their series-opening contest.

At Ovidiu, Romania:

Hee-Chan Hwang (2'), Hannes Wolf (28'), and Munas Dabbur (31') each scored a first-half goal as FC Red Bull Salzburg knocked off Viitorul Constanta 3-1 on the road in game one.

At Skopje, Macedonia:

Tigran Barseghyan (20') and Mehmet Topal (OG-90'+2) each scored once as Vardar blanked visiting Fenerbahce 2-0 in their series-opening contest.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Samuel Abegbenro scored the only goal of Rosenborg's 1-0 series-opening road win over Ajax Amsterdam in the 77th minute.

At Innsbruck, Austria:

Vidhar Kjartansson scored the only goal of the match in the 67th minute as Maccabi Tel Aviv posted a series-opening 1-0 road victory over Rheindorf Altach.

At Barysaw, Belarus:

Evgeniy Banada's equalizer in the 19th minute lifted FC Oleksandriya to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with FC BATE Borisov.  Mirko Ivanic scored for the Belorussian club in the eighth minute.

At Zagreb, Croatia:

Angelo Henriquez's equalizer in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time enabled Dinamo Zagreb to salvage a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Skenderbeu Korce.  Liridon Latifi scored in the 37th minute for the Albanian club.

At Razgrad, Bulgaria:

Cosmin Moti (61') and Virgil Misidjan (75') each scored once as Ludogorets Razgrad blanked visiting FK Suduva Marijampole 2-0 in their series-opening game.
 
At Ljubljana, Slovenia:

Morgan Sanson's equalizer in the 63rd minute lifted Marseille to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Domzale.  Amedej Vetrih scored for the Slovenian club in the 12th minute.

At Belgrade, Serbia:

The series-opening contest between Partizan Belgrade and visiting Videoton finished out in a 0-0 draw.

At Warsaw, Poland:

Cyrille Bayala's equalizer in the 87th minute lifted FC Sheriff to a series-opening 1-1 road deadlock with Legia Warsaw.  Kasper Hamalainen scored for the Polish club in the 76th minute.

At Plzen, Czech Republic:

Marek Bako scored twice (29', PK-74') as FC Viktoria Plzen defeated visiting AEK Larnaca 3-1 in game one.

At Thessaloniki, Greece:

Aleksandar Prijovic scored twice (77', PK-88') as PAOK FC downed visiting Ostersund 3-1 in the opening match of their two-game series.
