MLS: Impact, Reds, DCU, SKC, Caps Garner Saturday Triumphs; Lions and Crew Draw in Orlando; Quakes and Philly Draw, Too in SJ Town

Seven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday night.

At Montreal:

Ignacio Piatti scored twice (11', 29') as the Montreal Impact continued their climb up the Eastern Conference standings after their 3-1 home victory over Real Salt Lake.

At Orlando, Florida:

Giles Barnes' 67th-minute equalizer enabled Orlando City to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Columbus.  Lalas Abubaker scored for the Crew in the 35th minute.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Marky Delgado (14'), Nicolas Hasler (63'), and Sebastian Giovinco (90') each scored once as Toronto FC knocked off the Chicago Fire 3-1 on the road.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Diego Rubio (42') and Gerso Fernandes (90'+2) each scored once as Sporting Kansas City climbed back atop the Western Conference standings after their 2-0 home blanking of FC Dallas.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Jared Watts' own goal in the 27th minute, combined with timely saves by goalkeeper Bill Hamid lifted DC United to a 1-0 road victory over the Colorado Rapids.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Fredy Montero (PK-17') and Yordy Reyna (32') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps snapped the visiting Houston Dynamo's six-game unbeaten streak 2-1.  The Caps are still unbeaten at home (six wins and one draw) against the Dynamo.

At San Jose California:

Chris Wondolowksi'a successfully-executed penalty kick in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time lifted the San Jose Earthquakes to a 2-2 home draw with the Philadelphia Union.  Vako also scored for the Quakes in the third minute.  The Union's goals came courtesy of Jack Elliot (35') and Roland Alberg (55').
