Lucas Alario's goal in the 51st minute enabled River Plate to gain a 1-1 game-two home draw with Club Guarani and win their series with the Paraguayan club 3-1 on aggregate.
At Lanus:
Jose Sand scored the series-winning goal in the 84th minute as Lanus defeated The Strongest 1-0 at home in game two and eliminated the Bolivian club 2-1 on aggregate.
