MLS: Crew, DCU, Reds, RSL, Timbers Garner Wednesday Wins; Dynamo Gain Texas Derby Road Draw With Hoops; Caps Likewise At Home With Sounders In Cascadia Cup Clash

Seven games are on top on Wednesday in Major League Soccer with all times Pacific.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Ola Kamara (45') and Justin Meram (90') each scored once as the Columbus Crew blanked the visiting ten-man Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0.

The Galaxy had a goal wiped out after video review due to Joao Pedro going offside on what would have a goal by Daniel Steres in the first half.

At Washington:

Michael Parkhurst's own goal in the 46th minute lifted DC United to a 1-0 home win over Atlanta United, giving them a three-game season-series sweep of the expansion club.

At Frisco, Texas:

Erick Torres scored twice (71', 86') as the Houston Dynamo came back from two goals down to gain a 3-3 Texas Derby road draw with FC Dallas.  Vicente Sanchez opened the Dynamo's scoring in the game's opening minute.

Tesho Akindele (45'), Maynor Figueroa (45'+2), and Maximiliano Urruti (52') provided the Hoops' goals.

At Toronto:

Sebastian Giovinco (10'), Nicolas Hasler (30'), and Jozy Altidore (57') each scored once as Toronto FC continued in their march to become the first Canadian club to win the Supporters' Shield with their 3-0 home domination of the Philadelphia Union.

At Sandy, Utah:

Luis Silva (29'), Jefferson Savarino (68'), Albert Rusnak (80'), and Yura Movsisyan (90'+3) each scored once as Real Salt Lake demolished the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 4-0.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Fredy Montero's equalizer in the 64th minute lifted the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 1-1 Cascadia Cup home draw with the Seattle Sounders.

The guests were able to stretch their unbeaten run to ten games (and take over sole possession of first place in the Western Conference standings), thanks to Nico Lodero's successfully-executed penalty kick in the 19th minute.

At Portland, Oregon:

Goals from Diego Valeri (21') and Darlington Nagbe (23') enabled the Portland Timbers to hold off the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-1.
