Bochum Stun Leverkusen; Werder Bremen Back In Second

Two German Bundesliga games were played on Easter Sunday:

At Leverkusen:

Following up on their dismal 3-0 home UEFA Cup defeat against Osasuna, Bayer Leverkusen suffered another home fistbeating as VfL Bochum manhandled the Lions 4-1 to climb three points above the relegation zone. Theofanis Gekas scored twice (22', 89') for the guests.

At Bremen:

Werder Bremen reclaimed second place in the Bundesliga standings (two points behind Schalke 04) as Markus Rosenberg's score at 75 minutes lifted them to a 1-0 home win over FC Nurnberg.
