MOLES WIN CONCACAF CHAMPIONS CUP IN PK SHOOTOUT AGAINST GOATS

At Pachuca, Mexico:

Homestanding Pachuca defeated Chivas of Guadalajara to capture the CONCACAF Champions Cup. After last week's 2-2 draw at Guadalajara, the second game of the two-game home-and-away final wound up deadlocked at 0-0. Two fifteen minute overtime periods produced no goals, thus it came down to the penalty kick shootout. After each team scored six goals through the first six rounds of the shootout, Pachuca's Louis Landin scored the game winning goal, this after the Goats' Alberto Medina missed on his penalty kick.
