Spartak Now Atop Russian Table

Five games were played on Sunday in the Russian Premier League:

At Moscow:

Late goals from Egor Titov (76') and Alexander Prudnikov (86') enabled Spartak Moscow to come back from a one-goal deficit to defeat visiting Luch-Energiya Vladivostok 2-1 to take over first place in the league standings.

At Khimki:

Milos Krasic's goal at 63 minutes enabled defending champion CSKA Moscow to salvage a 1-1 road draw with FC Khimki.

At Nalchik:

Vitali Sumeiko scored the only goal (51') in Spartak Nalchik's 1-0 home triumph over FK Rubin Kazan.

At Perm:

Zenit Saint Petersburg gained a 1-1 road stalemate with FK Amkar Perm thanks to Konstatin Zurianov's equalizer (66').

At Rostov:

Late goals through the courtesy of Denis Kiselev (73', 79') enabled FC Tom' Tomsk to get a share of the spoils via their 2-2 road deadlock with FC Rostov.
