Pachuca Overtakes Houston To Create All-Mexican CONCACAF Cup Final

At Pachuca, Mexico:

Christian Gimenez scored a hat trick (PK-15', PK-58', 105') helped lead homestanding Pachuca to a 5-2 win decided in overtime, after their two-game CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinal series with the Houston Dynamo ended deadlocked 4-4 on aggregate through 180 minutes (the Dynamo having won game one at home two weeks ago, 2-0). With the Mexican club having won this series 5-4 on aggregate, they will next play fellow Mexican club Chivas of Guadalajara for the championship, and the right to play in December's FIFA Club World Cup tournament in Japan.
